From the beginning, man sought God. In Altamira, in Sumer, in Assyria, in Babylon, in Persia, in Greece, in Rome, in Western Europe and, since 400 years ago, in the United States of America.
In many other places, man sought God. In India, in China, in Japan, among the ancient Celts. All great civilizations sprang from faith in God and his decline was due to his lack of faith in God.
Clearly, therefore, that faith in God is the cause of progress.
However, not all religions have had the same results. Modern civilization is Christian. More precisely, the present civilization is Protestant.
