FIRST WORLD POWER

The result of puritan religion was a superior production, which put within reach of all men endless key articles for everyday life. Among the architects of the industrial revolution we can mention: Eli Whitney (1765-1825), who promoted the American manufacturing system consisting of interchangeable parts production, to Andrew Carnegie (1835-1919), which reduced the price of steel a 90%, or John D. Rockefeller (1839-1937), which reduced oil prices by 50% or 70% kerosene. Of his work benefited all people of this planet and as a reward for this, the last two were immensely rich but later donated much of their fortunes.
The result of the work of these men and others like them turn the United States into the first industrial and military power on the planet.

AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE

When I speak of American redemption, I mean the fact that, through the Americans, human beings have experienced an unprecedented era in terms of availability of material goods so necessary for daily life and make life more spiritual . Material goods enable man to have more free time you can devote to intellectual work. There are countless examples.
One of the greatest advances in human history was the production car at a price affordable to the pocket of anyone. The credit must be attributed to
Henry Ford (1863-1947). Before he released the Model T, few could own a car, then everyone could enjoy the benefits of better transport medium.

THE ELECT NATION II

Civilization began in Sumer and there, the temples were the center of city life. From there, it was also originally Abraham, the father of the Jewish people and, through Christ, the father of our current civilization. However, Jews were not responsible for creating today's civilization, this task was entrusted by God, apparently, the American people.
The first great prophet of this mission was John Winthrop: "For we must consider that we as a city upon a hill, the eyes of the world will be watching us." And he did. By the grace of God, America became the redeemer of all mankind.

RELIGION IS PROGRESS

From the beginning, man sought God. In Altamira, in Sumer, in Assyria, in Babylon, in Persia, in Greece, in Rome, in Western Europe and, since 400 years ago, in the United States of America.
In many other places, man sought God. In India, in China, in Japan, among the ancient Celts. All great civilizations sprang from faith in God and his decline was due to his lack of faith in God.
Clearly, therefore, that faith in God is the cause of progress.
However, not all religions have had the same results. Modern civilization is Christian. More precisely, the present civilization is Protestant.

JOHN WINTHROP

"All other Churches of Europe are brought to desolation ... This land grows weary of its Inhabitants, so as man, who is the most precious of all Creatures, is heere more vile and base than the earth they tread upon ... We are grown to the height of intemperance in all excess of Ryot ... The fountains of Learning and Religion are corrupted ... Most children, even the best wittes and fayrest hopes are perverted, corrupted and utterly overthrowne by the multitude of evil examples and the licensious government of those seminaries."
John Winthrop, General Observations for the Plantation of New England.
"As the fleet set off, on Easter Monday 1630, Winthrop was in a mood of exaltation, seeing himself and his companions taking part in what seemed a Biblical episode - a new flight from Egypt into the Promised Land."
Paul Johnson, A History of the American People.

THE ELECT NATION

The United States of America were the people chosen by God to guide mankind in the last period. We do not know how long this election even if it is currently in force. We know, for sure, that God has placed them above all other peoples of the world as a guide to teach all men the way to Him. He has given them power and glory, that are, as predicted John Winthrop, the city on a hill from which Jesus of Nazareth speaks in the Gospel of Matthew.

MAYFLOWER

From a religious point of view, the creation of America should go back to the arrival of the Mayflower to the American coast. They were the Pilgrim Fathers who gave to the colossal American nation the spiritual momentum necessary to become the leader of a new civilization that would mark a new era in the history of mankind. The religion as progress creative principle is marching on.
